Chateaux, gardens and gastronomy tour in Brittany and Normandy

Departure from Granville or Carteret, you will discover the traditionnal Normandy, and enjoy magnificient castle and gardens.

After the free visit of a traditionnal cider house with cider tasting, you will enjoy a savourous meal served in an old medieval castle, in the Knight's hall.

Then the owner of Nacqueville castle (castle from XVIth century, registered as an historical monument, 20 mn from Cherbourg) willl welcome you for a guided visit with the delighful romantic park , created in the 1830's by an english landscape gardener... one of the prettiest places in the world" Alexis de Tocqueville, the famous 19th century political philosopher.

Return to Granville or Carteret at the end of the day

Departure from Caen or Ouistreham, you will go to the Castle of Vendeuvre, (1/2 hour drive). The first collection in the world of miniature furniture masterpiece and silverware. You will discover the interior of the château and the way of life in the 18th century, the kitchen and the dog kennel collection, also the "surprise" water gardens, the grotto and the mazes...

You will taste for lunch a menu with a typical Normandy flavour.At the end of the day, return transfer to Caen or Ouistreham.

OPTION :Night in the Castle of Audrieu (Relais & Châteaux) from 165€ pp 1/2 Board with guided visit in english of the castle (in the same family for 200 years)

You will be welcomed by the owner of this old Breton manor called a "Malouinière" from the XVIIIth century, at 40 mn from St Malo or Dinard Airport

Group can be divided in two:

Group 1 will do the cookery class with Muriel based on a three courses lunch (10 pax max).
Group 2 will attend a wine course with Marc, you will learn how to taste & recognise the different wine.
Then, you will enjoy the meal prepared by group n°1 with the wine provided by group n°2.

Option : night at Dinan or St Malo or Dinard in a hôtel or guest house from 45€ pp BB.

- Buggy or quad rally 1/2 day or full day.
- Blo karting on the bay.
- Treasure Hunt by foot in the bay or on the rock!
- U.L.M flight above the Mont.
- Discovery tour in horse carriage around the Mont St Michel.
- Guided tour by foot in the bay.
- Discovery tour by zodiac in the bay to learn about the marin environnement, you might see dolphins…

Lunch :

- On the Mont with a panoramic view of the bay.
- In an old farm.
- Traditional restaurant with food cooked on the grill from the fire place (pork speciality, 30 mn from the Mont).
